PLAYING WITH FIRE: THE THEO FLEURY STORY

ON SALE NOW!

This is more than hockey, this is life – and audiences don’t need to know a thing about hockey to love the epic, award-winning, exhilarating and inspirational true story of courageous Canadian hockey hero, Theoren Fleury. With the odds stacked against him, considered too short to play hockey, the pint-sized Métis kid with huge ambitions from Russell, Manitoba overcame crushing obstacles to become an NHL All-Star, win the Stanley Cup, and represent Canada twice at the Olympic Games where he earned a Gold medal. The show is a moving, funny, and highly theatrical event – performed entirely on skates – and Shaun Smyth delivers an absolutely extraordinary performance that critics have called “the performance of a lifetime”.

WARNING: This play contains coarse language and mature content.

“This is one show that any hockey fan in the city should not miss!” – Montreal Times

A misfit company of overworked cast and crew are preparing a farce of their own, Nothing On, and anything that can go wrong, does! Witness the pandemonium in three stages: the dress rehearsal, the opening night, and a debilitating performance that threatens to jinx the old saying, “the show must go on”. Full of delightful surprises and glorious slapstick humour, you will relish every moment of this award-winning backstage farce, complete with slamming doors, missed cues, falling trousers, and — of course — flying sardines!

Million Dollar Quartet

The Tony Award-nominated Million Dollar Quartet explodes on stage with a monumental night of rock ‘n’ roll! On December 4, 1956, a twist of fate brought Johnny Cash, Jerry Lee Lewis, Carl Perkins and Elvis Presley together at Sun Records in Memphis, Tennessee.
